Who We Are?

The Basra Business Information Center (BIC) was established in 2004 as an independent nonprofit, nongovernmental organization (NGO) focused on business & economic development by the British PRT. In recognition of BIC's accomplishments and high standard services, it had joined the SBDC network in June 2009.

Focused on being a pioneer and innovator for business development in the region, the BIC is dedicated to ongoing improvement of its services and committed to a high standard of customer care. Providing the creditable business information for investors and decision makers, training courses on business development, assisting in developing provincial development strategy, consultancy services for companies and entrepreneurs, arrange and managing economic conferences and trade fairs as well as other various activities that add economic growth to the province of Basrah through efforts with the local governing bodies in the region.
